Goofy Golfer

So how many times do you need to play a hole in regulation before you actually par it ? Over the past couple of weeks I've been playing this par 5 3 times in regulation, only to 3 and 4 put it ;(

On the positive site.. my long Irons are getting stable.. I`m getting much more practice with them this year so I`m hoping to get them steady. I just par'd a 184M hole with my 4 and if the Strokesaver is a little bit accurate I've been hitting 210 with my Iron 3 . A 340Meter Par 4 any my second shot was from somewhere in the middle between the 150 and 100Meter markers.

The advantage of being a high handicapper is that you have so much you when doing things good, even partly

The joy of reaching a long par 5 in regulation with 3 great shots.
The joy of being able to rethink those 3 shots ..

And the fact that you can just forget about that stupid 3 put as a bogey on a par 5 isn't really bad for you afterall :)

Lots of low handicappers would be frustrated with that hole because of the 3put ..
